I’ve been photographing Michelle since I first picked up a camera, and she’s been a constant creative collaborator ever since. She has a natural presence in front of the lens, the kind that makes everything feel effortless. She comes into every shoot prepared, often with mood boards and ideas already in mind, and needs very little direction. She could be model in real life!

For this session, she brought a vision that felt both soft and bold, centered around an orange, netted dress that contrasted beautifully with the water. We planned the shoot with intention, focusing on creating a few strong, impactful images rather than rushing through a long list of ideas.

The morning itself was calm in appearance, but the waves were stronger than they looked. She handled it like a pro, fully leaning into the movement and unpredictability of the water.

We walked away with a gallery that feels striking and refined, and some of my favorite portraits of her to date.
